The key feature of the Eeek!onomics program that distinguishes itself from the other centres is how the Economics knowledge of students is slowly built up through a series of customised worksheets and numerous real-world examples, allowing our students to gain a comprehensive understanding of various concepts. Unlike other centres, our A Level and IB students are also grouped separately so that they are well equipped for their respective syllabus and assessments.
During each session, relevant foundation-level questions are carefully crafted to enable the tutor to teach content in an applied manner, while keeping it simple for student’s too easily understand concepts taught. When students have attained competency, the difficulty level of the questions is increased until students are able to address complex questions from a wide pool of questions from internal school papers to the actual exam board questions. Before every major examination, there is an extensive and organised revision program to address different aspects from data-handling, source-based short, structured questions to writing excellent essays with good exemplification and analysis.
